Tire changing, SW side

Who do you guys use for tire changes on spoked rims, SW side? I ordered tires online and was thinking I would try and do it myself, but I'm a little worried about damaging the new tubes.

but no rims with tube tires or spokes like cruisers
I'll see how much cycle gear will charge, I'm just not sure if they'll change carry-in tires.

They will, just charge you more than if the tires were bought there. Reasonable to me.

They were asking me $75 per.

wow, $75/ wheel to install a tire? I only paid $100 with shipping for both tires. Looks like I'll be picking up some installation tools and doing it myself.

I draw the line at paying someone to perform a service when it would cost less to buy the right tools and learn to do it myself. Considering I've been riding 5 years and averaged at least one set of tires per season, I've got 6 bikes in my garage at the moment, 3 of which need tires installed soon (and figuring gas to drive someplace as well), sounds like I can justify the purchase of just about any manual tire changing setup out there.

I had a guy that would do it for $20/wheel, but don't guess he's doing it anymore and I don't want to drive across town @ 15mpg in my car.
