If you guys actually do this, you should contact a local shop in LV to have them cut you a deal on a group by for new tires since your center will be TRASHED:laughing6

to me.....it sounds like 2800 miles I don't need to put on my bike. I would rather trailer out to "central" location and ride the twisties from there. 2800 miles on a bike is a long way. If something happens (mechanically), you may be screwed more than you think. Finding a motorcycle shop off of I-10 in the middle of the desert may be hard to find. And even if you do find somewhere to service you may be "waiting" for the part(s) to get shipped in. My bike runs strong and doesn't have any "major" issues, but I wouldn't put that to the test on a LONG road trip FAR away from home. One thing going wrong (mechanically or rider error) can cause a bad hiccup on the whole groups plans. I would strongly recommend that anyone taking this trip to have there bikes "scrutinized over" by a reputable shop before taking this trip. Just my 2 cents.

, Vegas is pretty hardcore on a bike. Lemme know when yall head to Deals Gap.

Been thinking bout this one for a while. Trailer the bikes there stay a few days, ride in Tenn and NC, roll back.

UFC 67 is February 3rd. Too cold for that ride and too soon. Unfortunately there is no listing for UFC 68 but we can assume it will be beginning of April making UFC 69 probably middle to end of May. I think #69 is the way to go!

Well the idea is to take a truck and trailer and rotate the bikes and truck driver so that everybody gets a rest/comfy seat. It could work out well but I do understand your thoughts and concerns. It's no light task to take on.

Well, just a thought but......you could volunteer to drive/pull a trailer.....bring your girl and your bike..........ride a little and drive a lot? It might prevent you from visiting some of the finer points of interest.......but what the .

I guess I should put down the pipe, huh? J/K!!! I thought you referring to the ride. If I want to go to Vegas, I'll fly. My 20 hours of driving time is worth more to me than the money it would cost to fly there. Maybe I'll just fly to Vegas and you could pick me up on the RC Carry on.
