Its good that you are a very good marksman but u might have sealed your own fate:notworthy .......If something happens and lets say u have to defend yourself by using lethal force and you kill that person you are going to be in deep doodoo...because when the investigation starts they are going to look up ur CHL and see how good of a shot u are and they are going to ask u "if ur such a good shot y didnt u just wound him instead of killing him" but if u just pass the shooting by the minimum then they can not say that you killed him on purpose.....just a lil advice i was given from someone who knows their ....good luck and happy shoooting...lol

No suh.

You shoot someone to prevent them form doing harm to yourself. You shoot not to kill nor to injure. You shoot to stop them. And you keep shooting until you are certain they are no longer a threat.

You cannot shoot simply to injure someone. For this you can be held liable in a civil case. The only time you shoot is when you are justified in using lethal force.

It is worse to shoot and injure someone than to shoot and kill them.

Got that from my CHL course. Cops I know. Years of membership in TSRA and NRA.

The absolute stupidest thing you can do is shoot to wound.

If you shoot with the intention of wounding, then you aren't justified in shooting at all.

The reasoning that you proposed sounded like you pulled it out of your , sorry.
