+ 1 to this. I have a hard time going WOT. maybe because of the excessive play in my throttle linkage...

At least I pulled over & you didn't hear about it on the news Though it would of been kinda cool if they brought a helicopter down in front of me, sideways at 150mph, telling me to pull over

I'm at wot probably 85% of the time I accelerate. At 4-6k rpms, it's a brisk pace and makes my carbureted engine really sound nice and chunky.

What's the point of having a sports bike if you don't speed? I mean seriously, 2nd gear puts me into triple digits. Who the wants to stay in 1st gear all the time????
