looking for good music for video's

I have been collecting music for a long time. started back in the 80's buying 3 albums a week. Add to that one of my friends was buying at a faster rate in the 90's up to 2005 Now I have over 300gigs of mp3's. I have so much I don't even know what I have anymore. A lot of it I have never listened to. And when I do listen to a good song a lot of times I don't really pay attention to what it is or who's is singing it. Anyway I want to know what you guys and gals might think would be good songs to edit in some highlights of TD footage.

Throw up some names of artist and/or songs and I'll see of I have them. If I like them Hopefully I won't butcher the video up too bad.

tonight I went thru the godsmack album found a couple of possibilities, but I know there's got to be something better.

Reese

This one would work if I had several camera angles.

Not sure about most of the rest of the vid's. Some have a good beat but most of them the lyrics wouldn't be right for the action.

I also realized I need more footage. Gonna have to do some more filming, riding, TD's, forest rides, etc. hadn't checked out the list by XJX yet.

If it were just raw footage I'd let the engine be the soundtrack. If you're editing it the effects and cuts you chose would determine what music is best.

In my opinion for making a music video for anything actiony you can't beat The Glitch Mob. They give good buildups for establishing shots. Lots of pickups for action. Pauses and slowdowns for some slow motion shots and and not too many shifts in tempo.

Person favorite.

A little White Stripes remix.

One we all know. We can make the world stop.

Out of all the videos I can't see (WEBSENSE, I'm at work ) I can see this one. I like it. I have no clue what the words are but it has all of the elements I like in a short film. I don't even mind the bullshit gunplay. Thanks
