04 gsxr 600

I just bought a 04 gsxr 600 and the speedo dont work the owner said it was working then just went out anyone have any clue where to start off looking

check ur wiring. iirc, the speed sensor is attached to the front sprocket cover. take it off and clean it and double check that its connected, and the wire hasn't been pinched or cut.

Just hit 8k on the speedo the rpms work just the speed don't show

I have the same bike. Same thing happened to mine. Turned out to be the speed sensor. Let me know if you need any help. I have some know how on the k4. Free of charge as always.

I'm mechanically inclined I checked all the wires so I might just look for another speedo sensor

Order it online and save$. Only one aloen screw. I use kneedraggers.com, and motorcyclesuperstore.com
