How I found my Stolen Bike, But Can't have it !!!

I got my bike stolen out of my open garage, NO T rite? well eff you. I thought i lived in a darn good community and have been around for 8 years. Anyways, My bike got stolen. And knowing "cops have more important things to do" like bumm around on their sorry . I posted an add on CRAIGSLIST; "Looking to BUY a CBR" and guess who responded? The Moron who stole my bike. He sent me all the pictures of my bike.

I almost felt like it was my bday, I was about to get my baby back! I set up a time and a meeting spot to meet this low life. Called the cops and let them know as well. Lucky me, this SOB got arrested couple of hours before he was suppose to meet me for stealing a CAR. FML

now he and his gf is in jail, Cops find out through the girl where my bike was last night and where they took pictures. They go over, knock the door and nobody answers so I get a call "Sorry, we tried but we can't knock the door down because DA won't approve"

I get the address, go over and this house is like a CRACK HOUSE from "BREAKING BAD" with all kind of stolen cars and junks parked there; only missing the "ICE LAB" but COPS CANT do anything about it because he took off my plates and there is no proof of picture that its my bike. And so, the D.A won't approve.

Now I sit here, help less and regretting to involve cops. I might have had my baby at this time. Now will I ever see it? I DONT EFFING KNOW !!!

1- it was stolen out of my garage. so he knows my residence.
2- This SOB has a good record of in and out of jail
3- Cops know that I've been all over this

BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, I have a family. As much I'd love to use my XD, it's not worth putting my family through the risk.

Get a lawyer, then. You need to act before the bike "vanishes".

bcuz there's no black smiley ones on here.

You know if it's in plain site it can be taken as evidence. So if perhaps the DOOR to that garage was to accidentally be propped WIDE FRICKEN OPEN when cops were called out to the place for some public disturbance, low and behold they see your bike?!??!?! Hmmmmmmmm..... ok picture this smiley as black....

Dude go get your bike if no one is home. Who cares if somebody calls the cops. It's not stealing if it belongs to you.

We don't need any weapons, if 8 people go, we can tell the occupants we are coming to get the bike and we won't press charges. (Of course, you can do whatever you like after you have your bike back.)

good points mentioned above!! Make sure the thief can't tie anything back to you. Let 5-0 do the dirty work of claiming your bike back for you.
