there is also the rear brake method. have someone get on the rear brake while you bust it with appropriate socket/breaker bar/cheater.

Yep, I've had one so tight that it took the rear brake, a padded steel bar b/t swing arm and wheel spoke, and my strong dad with the cheater bar/torque wrench combo. The HD craftsman impact gun we used would NOT break it loose.
