Dumbass Noob Question

So I started riding a year ago. My MC came with a sticker detailing vehicle inspection. It's under my license plate. Are MCs like cars, do i need to get it inspected annually? If so where, and would i be able to get a tail tidy kit? i' usually don't see other bikes with the inspection sticker, just the plate.

thanks....

TOTAL NOOB

Yep motorcycles require an annual safety inspection. Pretty much any inspection place can take of you, and it costs $14.50. As far as a tail tidy, any of our site sponsors can get you taken care of(the way I'd go) or you could order online from just about any place that sells Triumph stuff.

The inspector is required by law to place the sticker on the bike. Some people have it on their swingarms though. On pretty much any newer bike there's a plate that your license plate bolts to that has a spot for the inspection sticker. I personally leave them there as it's one less thing for cops to pull you over for.

Also, be sure to bring your insurance card just like you do with cars. You'd be surprised how many people either forget, or don't know you're supposed to have it with you.
