what ever mark.. Guy who uses his wrist as and excuse when getting passed...

Then I catch you holding your bike with one hand curling your wrist like you were stretching mid turn....and dragging knee... wish I would have caught that on video....

I hit a new PB. Ran some 1:51's on Saturday in lvl2. I was hoping for a bump to lvl3 but never happened!

Speaking as an instructor.. There may be other reasons you haven't been "bumped", and I wasn't riding to watch you. Could be your lines, loose riding, passing abilities (or inabilities), etc. But if you're running consistent low 1:50s like that, then you're good for Advanced/Level 3 at MSR-H. Don't know about other tracks, since this thread is about MSR-H.

My PB is 1:50, had hoped to break into the 1:40's the last track day I did. But it will have to wait until next year. I have only had 3 track days on the inline 4 CBR 954, since jumping from the Ducati 996 twin.

Clayton has me at 1:53 consistently, and I smoked him through diamonds edge and carousel, says I got him by a 4 count. We ran it all day. Need proof for a 1:49 but I don't care. Best GoPro et was 1:50 even, but that's still ball parked, could be +/- 0:02

Screw y'all on your sports, slicks and warmers. I'm doing this with 80 extra lbs, only 120hp, and Q2's. and an awkward as riding position (clip ons and rear set to come).

Give me an r6 and ill give you 1:45

Probably not a great indication but last day at MSRH after I crashed on session one... and had to jump my clutch sensor on the SV (Means I was down on horsepower). I struggled all day with my confidence and comfort level on the bike. I was consistent around 2:10. I am hoping that with a little help from the R6, and a little confidence boosting, and some serious mini dirtbike riding I can come back next season significantly faster.

I don't know what my PB is because i never check. My way of assessing progress is to set the goal to accomplish passing some fast ladies out there. So, i set the goal to pass all the fast ladies, Ilean, bosslady, Ivan, etc. Once i accomplish that goal, then will think of setting a new goal.

dont worry about horsepower if your not going for course records. @ a 2:10 pace or anything for that matter above 1:50 at MSRH. You need to focus on the line hitting your braking points, clip points, and working on your drive out of turns. Be loose on the bike believe me i was going "all out" and running 2:02's all day then one day with help i was told stop worrying about time and worry about the line and BP and in 1 day i was in the 45's. the biggest deal with the lvl 3 and advanced group/ racing i've seen is being predictable being able to trust that person in front of you is going to hold his line while you pass them in the turn lvl 2 guys are all over the place and run 1:50's but do so in a unsafe manner and when passed close they stand the bike up or push harder and run off track.

Keep up the hard work bud just need to work on the lines and being loose and i think ya can get in the high 50's
