I've been using your map that you sent me. It helped with the 4-6K hesitation and the idle, but still runs like a dog up top (my bike).

EDIT: Agg seems to think I might have a bad zfi or afm like Jtolles did...
If you have AFM then why are you using a map from another bike. Every engine is different, map your own motor. When was the last time you did plugs and cleaned the fuel filter?
You bike should be running excellent with that Bazzaz w/self-mapper (AFM)

Hey Whoop,
I've tried 4 different maps now as only a base, to see how the AFM would react. It tells every single map to almost max our certain RPM/TPS ranges, over 50% add.

Checked the plugs when I got the bike, in my tear down thread here. Have not cleaned the fuel filter yet, but bike seemed like it was dumping fuel even with the Bazzaz AFM suggested changes. I had to refill the tank after the first two sessions of the day.

Wow. That's really burning thru fuel. My light is coming on midway thru the 5th session when I do full days from a full tank.

maybe your o2 sensor is bad? It might be dumping all the extra fuel because the o2 sensor is giving crappy readings, and saying it's a lot leaner than it really is.

Brand new. 68 miles on it after the TD. It's wideband.

I borrowed AJ's, and it did the same thing.

mid 2:20s on my Ninja 250. I feel I'm going a bit faster in the winter though... my top speed before diamonds edge was 95 in december vs 85 this weekend.

I'm not real familiar with the bazzaz AFM, but don't you set a target A/F ratio and it tries to adjust to that? If so, what's yours set to?

Yep 13.0. I'm telling you I'm no expert mechanic but I know a bit, and this is baffling me.
