I had a good time. It was a little confusing. Lots of stuff happening, and the communication wasen't there. The food was great this year. Thank you for making this come together.

It was cool to come out, mingle, and watch. I like the facilities... awesome. However I never found the "plates" or "bbq" and didnt know where the motohouston.com people were. I didnt come for the bbq but I never ran across it either. I have to agree with craig_gsxr600, thanx for makin this come together. It was a good look but confusing and the communication wasnt there. I dont regret payin the $5 though. Would attend again to support.

I would like to see a MH bbq event not held at any track and instead somewhere more central and more inviting to all types of
riders. Maybe at a park.

This was my first track day. The track side services saved the day for me. I found a 2" long cut in my rear tire all the way to the carcass after my first run. If it wasn't for the track side services, I would have been done for the day. The communication prior to the track day was poor. Two days prior, I was wondering if I was really registered, as I did not get any confirmation from you guys. The only confirmation was from PayPal that I had paid. No responses to emails or phone calls. The only thing close to a confirmation was when I received the email on where to park.

The instructor / student ratio was great. With a packed novice group, having one instructor to four students was a pleasant surprise.

Had a great time and learned a lot.

Had a good time. Thanks to 1FC and WheelieDave for looking out for me and trying to wring some sort of riding competence out of me!

I had a great time at the event and it was my first TD as well (I was riding the Green/Black Ninja 250R). I do agree that communication was poor, it was very hard to hear the grid calls or announcements. I was a bit concerned about the amount of activity going on with the BBQ and TD going at once, but I didn't feel like they interfered. I also agree that the student to instructor ratio was good considering the sold out show. All in all it was a great event and I enjoyed it.

Great to meet some of you guys there and it won't be the last time either.

Thanks to Paul for helping me load my bike onto the trailer. And a thanks to all the instructors!

Hey Tim, just wanted to say thanks for hosting the BBQ with MH.
My dad and gf thoroughly enjoyed the food/snow cones/vendors out there.

I agree with the above, besides some people walking around, I never felt the BBQ stuff interfered with the TD. Awesome job.

I second this. I guarantee that the turnout would be way better if it wasn't associated with any particular track or track day org and more of an all types of riders central kid friendly gathering.

I thought it was fun and open to any rider from any organization. The music was a little obnoxious. That might be because he was stationed near me and had the speaker pointing towards us. Lol.

I really enjoyed seeing so many people out there, the models were nice to look at, and all the venders setup around the DJ (who did not seem to overpower the announcements) just the whole feel of the event, felt great... Yes I am associated with Fastline but I have also road with countless other track associations over the years, and this was one of the best turnouts and most enjoyable events I have seen put on for both riders and spectators alike!

LOL I would be typing about how I thought it didn't bother anyone as you were typing how it bothered you... But Yeah I could see how if you were directly across from him how it would be a tad loud

I'm sure you thought it was fun. I would have thought it was fun. But what about the other 70% of MH members that don't ride track? You think they wanna ride way the out to Angleton and watch people go round and round and eat snow cones?

Well, you either sign up for a BBQ or for a TD.

I care less about the BBQ honestly. I signed up to go round and round as fast as I could. If that was not the main thing to be done, then yes, a park would have been better (but I would not have been there)

That being said, the day was great. Announcements were hard the hear due to all the generators going on with the tire warmers, plus the music, etc.

I had a blast.

Fck it, let's have a bi-annual MH BBQ! One at MSRH and another at a centrally located park or something like Dave suggested
