rider down 610 yesterday

I was coming home from Rio Bravo yesterday around 4pm and came across a motorcycle down on 610 N, maybe 2 miles before 290 exit. It was a pink cruiser crashed with a rider in a pink coat and helmet. Anyone hear anything about this? I was wondering if she was ok? I got the impression she was dead because there were 3-4 other riders parked on the interstate and a cop car there diverting traffic but no one was around the rider who was face down. I assumed if she was breathing someone would have been sitting beside her or something.

can only find this story:

Cyclist and suspect hospitalized after hit-and-run
A cyclist and a suspected hit-and-run driver were both taken to Ben Taub General Hospital on Saturday after the driver allegedly struck the woman and then crashed into a building in Houston, KTRK-Channel 13 reports.

Investigators tell KTRK that the cyclist was hit while she was riding on the North Loop at North Main. Police say, according to witnesses, the driver then sped away, lost control of his vehicle and then slammed into a metal machinery business on Crosstimbers at North Main.

KTRK reports the woman is in stable condition; the driver’s condition is unknown, but he faces charges including failure to stop and render aid.

No further information is currently available.
