Understandably noted above. They looked like they are very happy kids. Best to embed the safetyness about the pros and cons of respecting the pocket bikes. It's result is the same as the big bikes if mishandled. I think they will enjoy those bikes even more and will become future racers if they keep at it! Good to see those little smiling faces!

Thanks All. To put myself at ease, the throttle limiter was set at around 10-15mph and they can only ride at the empty Garden Ridge parking lot (Garden Ridge closed down their store) and at the park on the paved trail. Under my direct supervision of course.

I gave them liberty to ride the street for the 1st 2 days but got tired of flagging down any cars that happened to come down my street.( I live on a street not usually used for thru traffic) I have to admit, Momma didnt like the idea of them getting bikes and I am still very cautious.. The gray hairs keep growing

The problem is, they think it's a toy and it's fun to ride in the streets just like real motorcycles. Sometimes kids cannot differentiate between safety and fun. You've got to express super deeply of where and when they can play them pocket bikes. I've had 2 of them, and they are fun, but also they can be dangerous. They just got to know to respect their bikes. Not preaching here, just understand how the wifey must feel, although she does want to make the boys happy. You know stupid cagers nowadays, they don't bother to look where they drive, let alone, care.
