I realize this IS a dictatorship, but you arent the dictator. Yes your opinion counts, but aside from that I'm not threatening anyone and I'm not posted nudies so if you dont mind not waisting bandwidth, I just want everyones opinion. then the Dictator can make his choice.

Thank you,
Clayton Mann

I like Arturo, nice guy....I just thought the thread would have been entertaining to unfold.

It was started last night I think, but was not here when I got to the office this morning.

no i started it a few hours ago... I'm sure he is a cool guy, and i hold nothing against him. But sometimes he says things on here that require alittle retortion.

i think it is a good idea, i would say try it for a month, if it doesnt work, or clayton does a bad job, then cancel, that easy

ok, this is a moto forum with alot of off topic conversation. there has been numerous talk about removing the classified section since over half of the items arent moto related.

im sure an auction forum is not going to happen, and im sad to say you havent been around long enough to be given a position like that. dont get your hopes up too high.

i don't think we need an auction forum, you want to sell something, just post it and ask the price.

if the seller wants to auction it off, they can request for bids to be sent to their PM box. how is that for a resolution?

this is just to reduce the whoring and non-serious bids of $20 for a $6000 bike.

thats a good note...

Talk about removing classifieds? why? I love them. Have bought 2 of my bikes off of them. I think it is a good thing, and I like the new rules being enforced also, makes it so members are helping members.

Arturo raises a half point with the say its up for bids and send them to the inbox, but how is the other person supposed to know what the bidding is at?

As stated in the first post, The seller will state the starting bidding price, Example, $6,000 bike, if it was me I'd start the bidding at 4,500 KNOWING that is a reasonable starting price.

I think it would be a cool system to try,

If I dont qualify, being as I am a rookie, then maybe someone else with better management skills can do it. (for those that done know the comes because I manage a local retail store, guess that means nothing:laughing6 )

and for one final (i think this makes 3) note, there will be no whoring, it will be bids and questions only.
