We are at 1200. Seems like a fair price. Fmf pipe, top end has 5 hours on it, very clean with new tires.
I sold a 97 KX250 a few months ago for $900 bucks. Dirtbikes at fair prices are easy to come by generally. For $1,200 bucks it better be in good condition....no fork seal leaks, good chain and sprockets, lots of meat on the brake pads, etc.

if you're outside of 150-175lbs, then try to find a bike that's sprung & revalved for your weight. jumping with stock suspension when you weigh 220 lbs SUCKS. and it costs $500-800 to have it done.

Thatsa tough one there. A 98 model 250 with suspension set up already. FEW and FAR between

Coming from motocross of almost 18 yrs it is not uncommon for a dirtbike to NOT have a title. I have sold, bought, traded and delt with allot of bikes. Make sure as Toball said, have a BOS and run the VIN to make sure it is not on a hit list. Check the front and rear sprockets for wear, chain, fork seals. take a 10mm socket and pull the seat and look at the air box/filter. Thats going to tell you how he took care of it. Mine looked brand new at all time. A few people on here saw the bikes i had and none had titles. Also when purchasing, run it, and let it sit idle. Make sure the carbs are not gummed up. Im also with others, for 1200 that better be clean. if you have that kind of cash, look at a new bike and be patient. Just my .2

doesn't have to be a 98 does it

its something to think about, you're better off buying a 2005 sprung right for $2000 than a 98 for $1200 that's not, and then paying $800 more when you start bottoming out on jumps.

suspension is one of those things that you spend a lot of money on and dont get your money back when you sell.. so.. try to be on the good end of that deal.
