I just started riding in February. Best advice, respect your bike, it is a VERY powerful machine. Have a good mentor who understands you are new and doesn't make you speed down freeways at obnoxious speeds (keep that for the track later!). For group rides - get to know your bike first before even considering it and when, ride your own pace!

Be safe and welcome!

Thanks Faylarcia and everyone at MH for the warm welcome... I respect my bike. I have learned to accept Risk and Consequences of riding one. Now I just got to pray that nothing happens. I've riden with a couple friends before but never with 4+. I would love to one day though. Do you guys have meets at Starbucks on 1960 across from willowbrook sometimes? I always see a group of bikes out there on certain days.

there aren't consequensec to riding a bike, the consequences come when you ride irresponsibly.
