Track Time Comparisons

Does anybody have any time comparisons between MSRH/TWS (Texas World Speedway),

for example, if you run a 2:10 at TWS (Texas World Speedway), what does that relate to at MSRH?

Thanks in advance.

I'm going by memory, which has failed me In the past.. I run 1:44s at MSRH and I believe I was running 1:58s at TWS (Texas World Speedway).

MSRH is 8 - 12 seconds shorter on an intermediate to advanced pace.

Hard to say, but I would guess 10-15 seconds lower at mrsh, but some guys are better at 1 track than the other, but u should deffinately be faster on the big track now that u have that rsv4

That sounds reasonable to me.

I did 8 track days with out knowing what I was running.. just wanted to work on getting the lines and everything together.

Once I started to keep track of my times I started getting faster. and with the help of Dave (1fc) I was pushing my self to keep up.

I ran 1:52 the 1st time I ran the timer.. next track day was 1:46 and now my best is 1:43

I'm sure once I put some suspention and reflash my ecu I can get a few seconds under my belt. lol

I ran a 2:04 at TWS (Texas World Speedway) the 1st and only time I went out there.

Can't wait to go back and see what I do now.

bro! U got fast quick!

I was running a 1:50 at msrh and a 2:06 right before I wadded my up at TWS (Texas World Speedway)... So now I'll prob run a 2:20 since I crashed.

I like msrh a lot better than TWS (Texas World Speedway) for the record.

I think my bike has a lot to do with it.. It wasn't running 100% before.
the wire harness was all up and after I swaped it (thanks to gonzo) it was a new bike! It pulls and runs like a modafuka!!

coming to chill on the 29th?

Easiest way to estimate is to look at the track records of each track.

MSRH set by Ty Howard 1:32.0 on his GSRX 1000cc with Dunlop Race Tires in 2008.
TWS (Texas World Speedway) set by TY Howard 1:41.4 on his KTM 1190cc with Dunlop Race Tires in 2009.

- Ty smashed almost all his records when he switched to dunlops. When Ty got off the Dunlops he has not come close to any of his records.

So MSRH is Roughly 10 seconds faster then TWS (Texas World Speedway). Give or take if your better at one track.

word..

MSRH Best: 1:47
TWS (Texas World Speedway) Best: just under 2:00

Looks like a pretty good consensus.

Except if you bring the Ape. You will be 40 seconds slower in fear of dropping that beauty....

See you Sunday.

Using Whoop and Bryan's specific examples, MSRH times are approximately 90% of TWS (Texas World Speedway).

92 seconds / 101.4 seconds = 90.1%
107 seconds / 120 seconds = 89.2%

So, using that logic, you would run a 1:57 at MSRH. (130 seconds x 90%)
