Another rider down

Today at 2:00 p.m. a cruiser went down coming in to IAH on JFK almost to the Marriot . Two guys i work with stopped to help and a lady was already preforming CPR so they called for medical, the guy had no gear and from what they said he split his head open pretty bad . They didn't know what kind of cruiser but said it looked like a full dresser Harley

I saw this.. Its was a RED loaded out Cruiser, No Gear older Gentleman, He was laying in a pool of his own Blood. No Vitals EMT was pumping his chest pretty hard.. Terrible scene as I drove by taking my friend to the airport. Looked like he was either Knocked off by another Driver or hit by a Metro bus.

Hope he made it. willing

!

Two in one day...
I don't understand how riding without a helmet is even comfortable.

I feel bad for his family and hope he was somehow revived.

RIP Riders,
I got my helmut about a week after I got my bike and just to think about going riding without it makes me stop in my tracks and say, Just what the am I thinking. Never would do it bc I just have this feeling like man this just makes me feel so much safer. Even though I'm aware of other dangers involved. Just reading all of the stuff about what is going on out there with all of the riders. Just have to absorb what people are saying about safety gear. I can't wait to be able to get me a comfy but protective jacket and gloves.

Not sure how that makes any sense. Most vegetables are a result of head injuries. I seem to recall hearing something to the effect of helmets being for the purpose of reducing head injuries. Have I been misled all of these years? Do explain.

He didn't make it

HOUSTON -
A motorcyclist died after a crash near George Bush Intercontinental Airport on Tuesday afternoon.

Houston police said a 62-year-old man was driving on John F. Kennedy Boulevard at about 2:20 p.m.

When he tried to change lanes, he overcorrected and hit a curb, police said.

The motorcycle flipped and threw the man onto the pavement, officials said.

The man, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken to Lyndon B. Johnson General Hospital, where he died. His name has not been released.

I feel bad for his pamily and loved ones...Too bad he didn't have friends to advice him on getting riding lessons or if he was that much of a noob, to at least wear a helmet.

Senseless...RIP
