Thank I was caging

Just got home from a wreck. My car was hit after a BMW ran a red light and was then slammed by a pick up truck. Basically the BMW was in a turning lane creeped out during a red light within 300 ft of a pickup truck coming down the road at 60mph. They then slid into me while I was waiting to turn left. If I would've been on my bike I'd likely be dead or seriously injured.

Weird something told me not to ride today... My car is the blue Toyota matrix barely any damage. Lady in the truck who hit the BMW had a serious ankle fracture that popped out of her skin and left a few pieces on the floorboards and her 9 yr old son was passenger at least he was uninjured.

Be careful folks... I hate intersections...

I have seen the broken ankle punch a hole in the floorboard. Glad you walked away from it like you did.

Glad you are ok! I actually wanted to ride in today... but I had a dream about crashing .. in my dream the sidewall of the takeoffs on my bike split. Thinking about trading the takeoffs out now...

Yeah - I'd much rather need a shower and an underwear change than a sponge bath and skin grafts...

Combination of both.

30K miles? So you've only been riding a year or so?

Same here. Pepople can make fun of me all they want. At the end of the day full gear will help keep my skin on, and all of my organs in one spot.
