Good thing you guys are doing. This road brings back some horrible memories of losing YankeeR6. You all should travel to his crash site too and pay some respect while you're out there. Miss that guy.

Did anyone pull this section up on Google Maps?

Looks to be a motocross track in someone's back yard about 1/10th of a mile north of our section.

Good timing on that question. The first date will be in Sept. Cool New Name has been trying to coordinating times with the State for the last two weeks. Should have more details next week. The should have a sign out there for us soon, if its not already up. We're going to ride out there today, Saturday, so we'll find out.

We are going to be posting a cleanup ride for Saturday morning. Sorry it has taken so long and this is kind of short notice but we ARE working with the state after all:eek:
They assure me our sign will be up by then!
Either Lonerider or I will post the ride on a separate thread; we will have at least 2 spots to meet and ride out to 362 then combine and take a ride. The cleanup should take about 30 min.
Thanks again for your patience

Arrow 1st Motohouston Adopt-A-Hwy - Thanks Everyone!

It understandable that not everyone will be able to make it for all the clean-ups, but it is great to see so much support for this.

If I have left anyone off the list please update or let me know. If you have not signed up and would like to please do.

We are going to make this first one as simple as possible.

Date: September 22, 2012 (Saturday)

1. Clean-up - 9:45am (about 30 minutes)
2. Ride - 10:15am (noobie friendly about 1-1/2hrs)
3. Lunch - 12 noon (Thirsty Parrot)

We are looking at incorporating other activities such as a fish fry, crawfish boil, etc...for future dates.

Section two on the map is our section.

We have three meeting points planned for people that want to ride or cage it together to the location. Meeting time 8:30am w/KSU 9am.

1st location: Bucee's of Mueschke Rd/ 290 CLICK HERE

2nd location: PP1 CLICK HERE

3rd location: Sugar Land Town Center (Starbucks) CLICK HERE

On the 250?

Are they the same as the pregen's? If so I have an extra you can have.

Edit, I just checked the Fiche, they are the same. Let me know.
