You may be right, will take a look closer at it. We are also going to scout a few more roads.

If we clean up 362, we ought to find bike parts around corners....

We can make a trophy out of them.

i know the protocol is 4 times a year, any chance folks would like to do it more often, say once a month or once every two months. just to show that we are all riders and take care of responsibilities/help where we can?

hopefully enthusiasm levels will remain high; if enough people continue to show interest I would probably recommend getting another stretch of road on the opposite side of town.

Cool New Name has heard back from the State, and this is a go. He will be posting up more details soon.

It was good seeing some of you that signed up, at the Central Meet last night.

If anyone is interested and haven't signed up yet please do so.

You guys, this is fanfuckingtastic!

This is a perfect way to clean up the riders image and give back to the roads we ride.

Would make for a great ride, clean up and lunch! Count me in.

UPDATE

Ok, everyone, here's where we're at:

I have spoken with the coordinator regarding this issue and apparently the process has been proceeding normally even though it seems like forever since I'd heard from them. State bureaucracy I guess . Anyway, she told me that they had to check out our website before they could approve us.

I have a few more things to handle with them but as of now we are looking at our first cleanup in September. We will incorporate a ride into these cleanups as there are plenty of decent roads in close proximity to our stretch of highway. We will be getting a stretch somewhere in the vicinity of 529 and 362. Lone Rider and I have been kicking some other ideas around to encourage participation; details to come.

Once again, THANK YOU to everyone that has gotten behind this idea and I will post as I hear more.
