I have to retire my MH shirt so cops aren't all like... you are the mofos that been speeding on RR... and I am all like dude I am unaffiliated with those asshats and they are all like , "But we found this post about you doing unwelcomed activity on RR". Then I'd be all like Whoa you caught me...

that is a great idea... i say go for it

I know the big guys here at MH would be all about it since it's a positive thing all around.

I had sent an email last year trying to contact the dmv or whoever it was to get the ball rolling on the whole adopt a highway but never got a response, call someone and make it happen

I've sent an email to the program requesting more information. Hopefully I'll receive a response in a timely manner and be able to address some of the questions raised so far.
At this time I haven't requested any particular stretch of highway and I think Senator has a good point; we may not want to pick a stretch that is too "hot".
If we do this, maybe we should pick a stretch that has high visibility to other riders but less of a possible negative impression to the locals.
