1.4s 60' should be doable on a 600 as well, so thats where you can pick up the most time.

Just basics, think it was a 1500$ budget?

Swingarm extensions, shinko tire, straps, exhaust, tune, and not much else.

Not sure what my 1/4 would be but the best 1/8 time on my last zx10 was a 5.9xx. Not sure what it was exactly but I remember those first numbers.

1/8 is half of 1/4 therefore I was giving a basis of telling how fast my bike would be in the 1/4 without actually giving a time.

Besides that is this your thread to judge what is relevant or not?

11.00's on my stock wheel base 600. I got 11.0X over and over, but could break into the 10's. 220# in shorts doesn't help

He's asking about the 1/4 mile times on a 600, you're responding with the 1/8th mile times on a 1000... the only way you could be more irrelevant is if you talked about hamburgers.

I ran that 11.1 with a 1.85 60ft. Which i was feathering clutch too much every launch, coulda engaged more, grab sooner basically, but i was "launching" at 6-7k and trying to keep the front down. Its a fine tuned procedure, thats for sure. I also ran that on 36 psi, no burnouts and shoulda lowered rear tire pressure.

Solracer, what bike? what was your 60ft on that 10.8ighty pass?

The straps compress the forks and take the rebound out of the equation. They lower it to pretty much bottomed out also. The main benefit is the rebound though. 1.4 60' is near impossible with a 600. There isnt enough Tq to pull that off.

Youre probably right 1.4x 60's might be too hard 1.5x for sure though
