just take your time and pace yourself, a lot can happen in an hour long race so no need to bust at the very beginning b/c you'll only wear yourself out before you even get into a good groove.

hey ltw9r,
I'll give you a challenge for being last. I'd like to give this a go also (and I've never done one before either).

James - are you going to improve on your 4th from last time?

Steve,

Challenge accepted !!

Come join me in D class...... Beginner....

I will also be at Skull Creek on Saturday, helping out with cleaning the trails, and getting the course set up...

Trying to figure out if my oldest boy, 14 ,xr100 will run on the long course or if he needs to be bumped back to the short track in the morning.... He is still learning and is new to dirt bikes and riding, although he did compete at the restart enduro at Skull Creek in March.... I hope to get enough insight on Saturday to make a decision....

Hey Steve good to see you made it here!

I always plan to at least finish the races, have fun and not fall down, that 4th place did not come easy, esp with the competition we had there, I def. worked hard for that final position..

It'll be great to see out there, don't worry, just show up and we'll help in showing all of the ropes to make it easier on you..

I'm planning on it!!!
1st goal - finish,
2nd goal - don't fall down (too much),
After that, it's all gravy.

I am planning on going. I did my first enduro race two weeks ago in college station and now I'm hooked. I got second place ( out of two in my class). Somebody tried to convince me that's the same as last place. Aholes.

I rode yesterday for the first time in almost 6 months. I was never fast but, now I am in snail levels. I am still trying to make it just to gain some speed.

Do they assign numbers to the bike out there (and can we buy them out there), or are we suppose to show up with some numbers already on the bike?
Quite a dilemma for a 1st-timer.

most places will let you use tape for numbers....or mailbox letters....of course, you won't look that fast with mailbox letters.

I better see some of you folks at TXORR events in the fall. Otis was dissappointed to hear that at least 4 TXORR members were off racing the TRH enduro @ Skull Creek when we were right up the road last weekend racing the Brunesmill property. I told him it was his fault for not posting anything here about his series. lol

i for sure will make the fall series races at Outlaw and Brunesmill if the dates are right and don't change. I'd also like to make a night time summer race if I can.

I should have the bike running again tonight, so barring anything unforeseen at the mx track tomorrow, I should be making this race on the 6th.

You can get a number at the event and buy a temp. number at the event for $5. Or, if you plan on running some more events, you can request a number on the TRH site on TON.

http://www.texasoffroad.net/forum/ub...ers#Post534393

Here is a list of current numbers....

http://www.moto-tally.com/TRH/BikeNumberList.aspx

I am on the list, and ordered numbers from 212 on this site....
