Quick fix for rattling gopro mounts

I'm getting tired of watching shaky, rattling video that would otherwise be excellent So here's the reason why it does it and the easy way to fix it.

This problem comes from the slack that is between the adhesive mount on your bike and the part that is mounted to the camera. To solve it just stick a single strip of tape right down the middle of the adhesive base to act as a shim between the 2. The same tape that you tape up the lights and mirrors with. Works great and will improve the quality of the audio and video.

If someone really needs me to I can post a pic of what I'm talking about, but I'm to lazy to do it now.

Or you can just put the 2 together and wiggle it and you will see what I'm talking about.

I used duct tape when I had my HD Hero. The new mounts that come with the HD2 do not have this problem. They must of fixed it.

Yes sir, the mounts on the HD2 hold the clip for the camera nicely in place. No wiggle

I was having the same issues with the HERO2, just used electrical tape, and that did the trick, thanks for the advise. That ratteling noise was horrible
