09 r1 won't start??

My friends r1 won't start not sure what's wrong. We checked the battery it's good! We had to jump start it 2 times and we waited like 10 mins for it to juice the battery but no go! It has gas but it just doesn't want to start! Its turning over like it wants to start but doesn't!? Any guess?! Thx for the advice

Must important question IMO. Sounds like a connector is unplugged.

Is it throwing any codes?

Fuel is good!
It started when we jumped it! I have a volt meter and it says it has 14.6 volts

I was thinking the same something is not connected but nothing on the display.

CHARGE THE BATTERY! Letting a bike "Idle" for 10 min will not do anything but burn 10 min of gas and give you time for 2 smokes...

If Jumping the bike worked then it IS the battery

Yep.^

But, you have some mixed descriptions on your symptoms.
You say it's turning over but won't run unless it's being jumped.
Is it turning over slowly or normal?
Pull the battery and have it load tested.
