Anyone know of a local shop that can get the Haga Monza in black and has good pricing, the cheapest i've found online is $775.

You could try and google my uncle. Sammy Tanner. Hes an Arai helmet dealer. hes not local but he might be a better option if you buy directly from his warehouse.

775 online is outrageous for any freaking helmet, I believe in good helmets, but come on really, It might look cool but aint gonna protect your skull any better than a number of helmets that are less than 1/2 that

i plan on going back to arai

closeout deals put them in the $500 range which isn't too far off from 2nd tier helmets

Oh I know about all those things, but they aint that much better than my Shoeis and HJC,s, I agree Arai is prolly the nicest helmet out there, and its more about the style/paint job, but if they are 775 online they can keep them, I work too hard for my $$, or maybe I,m just a cheap azz

Yeah ive had, top of the line Suomys, AGVs and my old quantum f doohan replica was always my go to helmet. I've tried the latest and greatest Bells cause ive heard great things about them, unfortunately they didn't get close to the comfort and balance of my Arai.

I believe in good bikes as well, i'm sure that's why you have a busa and a ducati instead of a 125 rebel right? They all get you from point A to point B, just in different (quality of ride, power, ergonomics) VARIABLES, that YOU liked and didn't mind paying extra for...

I too scoffed at Arai's prices, until I tried one. Simply put they work well, feel good, and look good. Yes, they cost more, but you know that when you shell out the cash for one it will satisfy. Other manufacturers can be hit or miss.

I agree Arai is the top of the line, and I would go 500 or so, but draw the line at 775, and I do actually have a couple 125,s that I enjoy quite a bit, tyvm
