helios, thats a great idea as well...that may be the one that would really work...i mean, if anything the dmv should have a good set of records right..

i just sent an email request through the texas dmv website to see if they can locate the records...very customer friendly info form, only took a second...who would have thought? I guess they will get back to me during the week.

yeah, so i see, that's awesome! I was born and raised in Houston, i live near Fort Worth now but you guys are making me miss those riding days off of westheimer 15 years ago...do people still hang out at coney island? I remember 50 bikes killing that road through memorial park i think it was along the bayou...i forgot the name of the street

Lol yeah those were the good ole times, every once in awhile they all meet up there still today. I think it's the first Wednesday of every month.

But yeah, this place is awesome. Enjoy it and hopefully you find your bike

DMV says they need either license number or VIN to look up a vehicle, they cannot do it with someones name. Insurance company says their records do not go back that far...so, looks like the only way i am going to find it is if someone recognizes the bike and checks with the owner.

i talked to Honda of Houston today, they say their records only go back 7 years...i guess this is one for movies...if i find this bike it will need its own short film to tell the story...thanks for all the feedback
