Cant Find SVs For Sale?!

ive scoured LA and TX looking for a blue or orange sv650 or any color 1k...03+

they are either full of miles, want to much or have issues lol

why is it so hard to find one???

preferably under $3200, perfect price would be around $2800-$3000

20K for an SV is not high at all. Those things can run for 100K+ if the motor is well taken care of and you don't flogg them to hard. Not only that you can pick up a new ("used") motor with low miles for around $500 if you need a new one at some point anyway. An SV is a great investment.

Just a side note though the 03 gets the worst mileage of all the 2nd gen SVs. They hadn't quite tune the fuel injectors properly on these models. Its either the 04+ or 05+ that get better mileage (55+mpg vs I get about 44mpg with very conservative riding). Also any of the dual spark plug years (07+) get the best mileage (I think 60+ if everything is working as it should).

true true...

Altho my "2011" model weighs about what the average 600 SS does...

No such thing as gas mileage tho..

Be patient. It's a common bike. Here's one I saw not too long ago. Looks to be a clean bike. While they're common, if it's a clean bike and priced right they sell quick.

Well on mine I was getting below 40 for the longest time and I was like WTF. I really worked on eeking out every last mpg I could and I've gotten it now to a little over 44 mpg consistently. In my investigating I came across the fact that the '03s mpg sucks compared to the others like your '05.
