Black Bike Week - Myrtle Beach

Heres some dos and donts for those attending.

http://www.blackbikeweek.us/2010/02/...dos-and-donts/

Part 1

Quote:
1. Make sure you check the rules of the hotel/motel/condo/house you are renting. Some may or may not have a curfew or other rules you may not agree with.
2. When it comes to a crew of females getting rides, an even number is going to get more opportunities than an odd number.

3. If you have 5 in your crew and 4 bikes drop to the curb, somebodyís going to be walking or nobody is going to ride.

4. Never tell the fellas to find an extra rider to ride your girl. Itís not going to happen. The fellas will just find another group of women to ride.

5. Realize that some guys donít come to Black Bike Week with the intention of riding women on their bikes. They just come to ride.

6. Realize that some women donít come to Black Bike week with the intention of riding on the back of a bike. They just come to hang out at Black Bike Week.

7. Donít get an attitude because dude does not want to ride you. There is another group of riders coming down the street in a few seconds.

8. Donít get an attitude and say something up to a woman if she does not want to ride with you. There is another beautiful woman right down the street who will be glad to ride with you

9. If you want to ride, donít stand around looking like you are too cute to be approached. The extra thick friendly women were riding their off last Black Bike Week while the not so friendly looking/too cute to be approached/slim women were walking the strip wishing they were riding.

10. Make sure you let your girls know where you are going if you leave them to hang out with dude you just met.

11. Donít be stupid enough to get on the back of a bike if the rider smells like alcohol or weed.

12. Donít be stupid enough to let someone get on the back of your bike if he/she smells like alcohol or weed. They are your responsibility when you allow them to get on the back of your bike.

13. Be smart enough to get off that bike if you do not feel comfortable about the riderís skills.

14. Check your reservation at least once every month to make sure the hotel has not messed up your reservation. They will do that and it is not always an accident.

15. Donít think that just because you have been riding with dude all day, he is going to pay for your food when he stops to eat.

16. Be prepared to pay for your own no matter where you go.

17. Donít think dude is not trying to hit it after you smoke up and drink up his .

18. Be prepared to walk back when you donít let him hit it LOL.

19. Donít come to Black Bike Week with folks that donít enjoy the same things you do and expect to have a good time with them. NOT GONNA HAPPEN!

20. Come to Black Bike Week with an open mind.

21. Donít come to Black Bike Week with a stupid mind.

22. Everyone cannot wear everything.

23. Donít disrespect the females at Black Bike Week.

24. Donít get angry when guys take your picture.

25. Donít think you are not gonna be on someoneís website if you are at Black Bike Week.

26. Donít think you are not gonna be on someoneís website if you have a half naked woman on the back of your bike.

27. Go to the supermarket and buy some grub (frozen drinks too). Cook it and let the aroma fill the hallway. Then just sit back and wait to see who drops by.

28. Donít think you are too cute and leave the goggle or glasses in the room. A bug in the eye hurts like .

29. Make sure you bring sun screen cause we burn too.

30. Donít forget your jacket. It may be chilly the first couple of nights.

31. Make sure you know who you are riding with because there are some sick guys who think you have to have with them in order for them to bring you back to your hotel.

32. Make sure you pin your wig down tight because it will make our day to see your wig fly off of Kings Hwy.

33. Travel with folks you can trust and you know will have your back at all times; anything can and will happen.

34. Donít jump on a bike in the first 5 minutes you get there. Get settled in and check things out first.

35. Donít go there thinking you are the cutest/most handsome person there. While you may look a lot better than most, there are at least a hundred others there who look better than you and most likely have a better attitude than you do.

36. If you got 5 stomachs, donít wear no 2 piece bikini.

37. If your cycle is on, donít get on the back on that man or womanís bike.

38. Donít come to Black Bike Week with a dirty, smoking bike. Change the oil and clean it up before you get there.

39. Donít curse a female if she wonít shake her for you. There are other women who will.

40. Donít act jealous when someone holla at your lady while her is hanging out all over the place.

41. Check behind the person who is in charge of making your reservation.

42. If you drink, buy enough to last through Sunday (no alcohol sold on Sunday in SC). You can buy it on the DL but it will cost you.

43. Donít lose your money playing games of chance in a store parking lot.

44. Be suspicious of your surroundings. There is crime at Black Bike Week. There are lots of thefts. Be careful about where you park your bike.

45. If you have a DVD player in your car, know that the cops will lock you up if they walk by your car and see a playing.

46. Be careful about splitting lanes. Some cops do not mind and others will write you a ticket for it.

47. Donít argue with the cops. You are not going to win. They will just lock you up and tow your bike.

48. Have enough money to get bailed out of jail and to get your bike/car out of impound.

49. Running from the cops in/on a vehicle is a felony in South Carolina

50. Donít expect ALL the cops to be . A lot of them are having just as much fun as we are. Just understand that when they are walking by your car talking to you, they are actually looking and smelling.

part 2

Quote:
Ok people spread the of of the first part of the doís and donít, so here is the second part ďPart one is Here Ē

Donít take your girl or your wife/your man or your husband. Both of you are going to come home off.

If you know your mate likes to act the fool, donít tell him/her where you are staying.

Donít park your bike where you cannot watch it.

If you rent a house, donít leave it without chaining your bike to your trailer.

Gas up when you get close to empty (car or bike). You never know how long you will be sitting in traffic.

Donít expect your cell phone to work consistently after Thursday night.

Make sure you are legit (insurance, tag, license, etc).

Donít walk around in a bikini or swim suit without properly shaving. That will not help you get a ride.

Donít come to Black Bike Week visibly pregnant trying to wear a two piece bikini.

Donít try to have a conversation with your hiphugger while you are doing 80mph. Just wait till you stop.

Donít get mad if the woman would rather holla at dude WITH a bike.

Donít come to Black Bike Week with a new crew and find out by accident that some of your peeps do not have the same sexual orientation as you.

Donít get caught off guard. Make sure she is a she before you get booty naked. There are some HE/SHES at Black Bike Week looking for drunk brothers who wonít know the difference.

Donít be one of the HE/SHES who gets caught trying to fool brothers. It wonít be pretty.

Donít get caught up. Make sure she is a WOMAN and not a GIRL. Unless your ďR. KellyĒ, you will be sitting in jail hoping to get a short sentence. Know who is coming to your room. STATUTORY RAPE can get you 20 years. They donít have to prove you knew how old she was. They just have to prove how old she was and that you had with her.

Donít act like you have never seen a fine woman in a bikini before. Even if you havenít, donít act like it.

Donít sell your boy out for some . If you need your boy to hold down chickís friend, let him know ahead of time. Donít spring the other chick on your boy at the last minute. Taking one for the team is an option not a requirement..

Donít sell your girl out for some . If you need your girl to hold down dudeís friend, let her know ahead of time. Donít spring the other dude on your girl at the last minute. Taking one for the team is an option not a requirement.

Donít forget to bring protection. Ladies, that means you too.

Donít plan on sleeping. You can sleep when you get home.

Donít drink anything you did not see poured.

Donít go to Black Bike Week thinking you have secured a ride for the week just because you have been chatting with someone over the internet. The likelihood of you actually seeing that person once you get to the beach is very small.

Black Bike Week is not the place to learn how to ride.

Black Bike Week is not the place for new riders.

It is a sad but true fact that the less you wear, the easier you can get a ride. Donít be angry with me. I didnít make the rule.

This one is for folks in cars. Bring a cooler with you. You never know how long you will be sitting in traffic and how long it is going to take to make it to the next store. Sitting in traffic at 3am thirsty, hungry and having to pee isnít a good thing.

If you stay in Myrtle Beach but want to hang out in Atlantic Beach on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, you better get up there early before the traffic gets bad. If you wait till noon to try to go up there, be prepared to sit in traffic for HOURS. There will be over 200,000 people in The Grand Strand by Saturday afternoon.

Make sure to have your bike serviced before bringing it to Black Bike Week. Your bike will most likely either overheat or the battery will die sitting in traffic waiting to make it up to Atlantic Beach.

If you have never been to the south in the summer time, get prepared to feel scorching heat like you have never felt before. It is hot as at Black Bike Week.

To check out the area and get a real feel for the Atlantic Beach area, go on Tuesday or Wednesday. That way you can travel freely, sight see and find out where everything is. You will slowly start seeing the transformation of the area Wednesday afternoon, Thursday morning and Thursday night. By Friday night, you will be like ďwhat the happened?Ē

Monday is going to be like a hurricane evacuation. The roads are going to be unbelievably clogged with everyone trying to make it to I-95 and the cops are going to be standing around doing absolutely nothing. Unless you just have no choice, leaving Monday morning is not the thing to do.

Be prepared for shout outs of all types. Compliments, rude , invitations to ride and other kinds of invitations too. Before you yell out some rude or nasty comment, ladies please remember that you may only be moving 2mph in heavy traffic.

Bring lots of film, videos tapes and batteries.

If you are not a rider, this does not apply to you so you can skip it. Make sure to specifically ask whatever accommodations you are getting if they allow bikes on their property. A lot of places do not. If they say yes, you need to have them explain exactly where the bike parking is. A lot of the hotels have parking decks and most of them are across the street. I donít know about you, but I like to be able to step out of my room and see my truck, trailer and bike.

The sooner you make a decision about where you want to stay and make the reservation, the better. The closer it gets, the more they jack up the room rates.

When you see the news cameras, dont git real stupid. You might become a nationwide fool.

Pick your Police wisely. If they treat you foul, go to a better one. All of 'em not . Majority are good. You wont win the contest.

Ladies wantin you to get the from the back without lettin you touch it.. (guy in drag, and youll be gettin )

Feminine shy guy wants to have oral . (Lesbian dressed like a guy, wants ta turn you out).

Easy win card games or guess which cup the ball in under..( The people that win the money are with him.. you are just being set up, Ladies run this con too.)

Somebody wantin to show you how fast the bike is. (aint NO PLACE THAT IS WIDE OPEN FOR SPEED EXCEPT DA TRACK..You askin for death.)

Free drink bought to you in a club, in a cup, in da dark. ( Can you say Rhohypnol, or " me while Im helpless"? Dont laugh fellaz, faggots are usin it on yall too. So you might take it up the for BBW.)

Ridin wit a drunk or a doper. (Drugs, everyone around it goes to jail if the person refused to admit its theirs)

Let someone know where ya go, and know who ya goin with.

Fellaz, before you HIT it, check it, know it, and protect yourself from it. ( Condom costs 75 cents. Ill give you one. Aids dont care and comes in a good lookin too.Ladies, same thing, except it has a swollen head and spits when its finished.)

Food Poisioning - look at da cook, and da grill and watch how ya food is done. Especially at night.

Traffic - you might walk someplace faster than driving. Dont plan a long drive in the afternoon cause youll spend hours sittin stuck. Traffic is bumper to bumper from Friday afternoon till Sunday afternoon except for the wee hours of the morning up until around 10am the next day.

Pictures - dont do anything you cant stand to see later. Especially when ya gotz da internet. So you might be at work and a coworker pulls up a pic of you gettin ya licked... or you lickin one.. gotta lil problem.

Leavin' ya window down while you walk off, the local thieves love this weekend. Mo cell phones, purses, stereos ripped than any other weekend. I would rather get back to a hot car than a cool one with all my gone..

Fellaz, wear a jammy ( not pajamas, a condom ) cause you dont want no phone calls later tellin you dat one night romp got her pregnant and she wants you to start child support. FIRST - she may not be pregnant, but knowin you married, outta town, and dont wanna up da family life, you might start kickin out some Jeffersons..

Ladies, - same advice, except know who's puttin da to ya. Cause its up to say ya got pregnant durin' bike week and thats all the details you can provide your child about his daddy.
Where is the best/livest/crunkest/most off da chain spot to be? you will get a different answer from almost everyone you ask. We put together the best list of the spot on this site and itís legit. check it out and stop asking the same question all over the internet LOL.

LASTLYÖbe sure of the folks you are making plans with and check your Hotel Reservations. Myrtle Beach Hotel rooms book up fast during Black Bike Week. And you don't want to find out after traveling for hour that you don't have a hotel room!

Thats retarded, whoever wrote that is an idiot. I have been to black bike week, it was fun, really less to do with bikes than girls. Lots of good people and all kinds of people, its kinda like a spring break party. It wasnt anything like what was posted. Lots of streched out bikes, not my thing but hey i can appreciate other types of bikes.
