TCX (formerly oxtar) boots

Just a quick review, I picked up a pair of TCX S-Race boots. For anyone with a wide foot that finds your typical Sidi/a* boot to be too narrow, this might be a solution. Construction and features seems to be pretty similar to other manufacturers at the same price point.

I wouldn't say these are better than sidi/a* just that for people with wider feet, they might be a more comfortable fit.

The S-Race boot is on close out at many places and do to the price point are considerably better than enything else on the market. These are professional grade boots with superior ankle support and and can be found for 250 or less (I think). At this price, buy a pair now. Check Revzilla or Sportbiketrackgear.com they had em on discount.

I'll also vouch for TCX boots. I have a pair of TCX Competizione S that have MANY miles on them and even a few crashes. I just replaced a few of the slider pieces and they still work great. I even wore them on a 1500 miles cross-county trip last week. Very comfortable both on and off the motorcycle.

I initially tried TCX (well, actually they were "Oxtar" back then) when I also found the Sidi models too narrow for my liking. However I would like to eventually move up to the S-Race or even the newer R-S2 that they list on their site. The Competizione S is big externally and the newer models appear to be slimmed down a bit while still providing the same protection.
