A short in the system. Do you have any aftermarket accessories wired in?

Possibly your stator or rectifier. I had this problem with my CBR. Bike ran strong and everything, but no more then 30 mins to an hr later the bike completely died on me. I ended up testing the stator and there was my problem.

Yes it does true fact. But for some odd reason mine drained really fast. After I changed out both parts my bike was fine.

That's what matters... I was speaking from experience. My SV rectifier went out a couple weeks ago...I think it was like a 6 mA draw with key off..

Several components can cause a draw, basically anything that has a feed to the battery power post(constant battery power.) That must be a significant draw or lack of charging to not allow restart that soon.

I recommend saving yourself time and money in parts swapping and either check the system with a DVOM or draw clamp while unplugging components or seek a qualified repair facility like our sponsors.
