Sv650s (sold)

I've had my Yamaha Raider for about a year now and I love the out of it. Me my wife and a friend on a Night rod SE just did a 1,200mi ride through the hill country. My friend on the night rod is very throttle happy and I can say I had no problem Keeping up Two-up. Of course I have a BAK Programmer and pipes I would suggest a raider to anyone wanting a nice comfortable ride with tons of power on demand

Me, I am 5ft. 6 in. & the VStar is a comfportable ride for me , nice highway power for a cruiser.
I'm 5'9". How good is the V-ROD for a passenger?

Just spoke to him , he is 6ft. 4 in. & his girl is under 6 feet , she says it is a comfortable ride for her .
one thing to note , she has not been on a long ride yet with him , just local .

I believe starting with the 2011 model, the V-Rod ergonomics were changed a bit to make it more comfy... bars pulled back a bit as well as the forward controls. Also, the Yama Warrior was not produced after 2009 (2010 in Canada I believe). It may be worth the time to call some Yamaha dealers to see if they have any new models still on the floor. If so, I'm sure they would be more than happy to make a deal.

I like the looks of the V Star Warrior. Any ideas why Yamaha stop producing the bike? Also if you need engine parts and the bike is not made anymore, where you get them? I mean like internal engine parts.

I found this one at Team Mancuso:

VP1921405 1

Is a 2005 and they are asking $7,000. 6850 miles.

I had a M109 and liked it. Very smooth and powerful. The V rod looks nice but I personally wouldn't pay the extra dough just for a bike that says "Harley" on the side.

That price is pretty high.
As far as the engine and parts, they still make the road stars which share the same basic engine. Plus, keep in mind that they only stopped producing them a couple of years ago and may still be selling new in Europe. Getting parts won't be an issue. The rumor is that the Warrior is on a temp vacation and is supposed to return as a whole new bike in the next year or so. Also, I do know that somewhere mid-production, they did change up the rear peg location to increase passenger comfort... I'm just not sure which year the change was made.

Check out these warriors on craigslist to compare.

Nope. Stryker is similar to Raider, but smaller and lighter.

How about a Honda ST1300? Lots of power...seats two comfortably...lots of luggage. Tires...front 16K and rear 11K. I came from big cruisers aI wish I had gone to sport-touring years ago.
