he wants black, not show pieces in funky colors. either way, www.precisionpowder.net if you want to hit them up. For faster turnaround at a cheaper price look up powdercoat texas in Tomball. I have used Allied in the past for race quad frames with good results, good prices, and quick turnaround. If you type powdercoat in the search box there are two threads on here with contact info for a few of the shops i just mentioned^^^ BTW, did that cover suit your needs?

Also, I recently discovered "appliance" paint works well if you just want to paint some small pieces that will not see a lot of wear and tear. Auto body "undercoat" or "frame paint" or whatever the fuc k they call it from the auto parts store works really well and holds up quite a while. hope this helps.

I would think I should be up and running full sized by the end of the week or so. I'm looking at getting a 100kv gun and should have the upright oven semi in place. I will definately be able to do the smaller stuff, the forks and such would be easy to, you need to dissasemble them.
I dunno on the price, right now, I would just get enough to cover the replacement powders and mebbe a smidgen for prep. I'll figure that out when I have a list of all the things specifically and I can also tell ya what parts I can do now and which ones need to wait a week or so for the upright.
All the things you want powdercoated need to fall in the catagory of "can this be baked at 350* for 15-20 minutes?", "is it metallic" if the answer is yes, then toss it on the list.

seriously should be no problem, what I've learned in the last few days is the prep is the key, those sound like easy stuff and mostly sounds like it is stuff that is painted and some raw aluminum. All of it should be easy prep as in not to time consuming and not a whole lot of stripping etc. I do have a huge blasting cabinet that makes life easier and I have an oven set up now, just not finished with the big cabinet for frames etc..
Tonight I'm going to do a couple more gun for some folks and mebbe some odd I find.
I'm wanting to see how glossy the red is I have and what it looks like when I shoot a high gloss clear on top of it.
gimmie a call and lets get the stuff picked up and get it done for ya.

Ha! nothing is free anymore.
I am doing this stuff cheap so I can get my powder and supplies used paid for and it gives me experience.
The cost is really based on how much prep work I gotta do. The most important step is the prep. I would think if all I had to prep is some blasting and masking, then a set of footpegs could be done for 30. or so.
one basic color.
If you need or want a clear coat, thats gonna be a smidgen more, but no problem.
