Question Quieting stock exhaust?

So I'm thinking of buying an old beater as a stunt bike. My father-n-law has a concrete parking lot next to his business (approx 50' by 150' maybe even 200') that I can play in. Only thing is there are apartments close by. Any way to quiet down a stock exhaust or a really quiet aftermarket exhaust? A new bike is still months away just thinking right now and curious.

Are you just trying to be a courteous stunter near the apartments or worried about someone filing a complaint? If you have permission to be on the lot and you have stock exhaust I wouldn't worry. Either way, I'm sure there is a baffle system or insert available to quiet it down.

Both. I dont want it to loud to not to be an and of course I dont want the cops there any more than they already will be. It's a block away from the police station.

I would look into a universal slip in baffle. They make them in just about every size for every exhaust.

The stock exhaust for your bike is pretty quet. Especially with the stock header and exhaust valve

Oh, Try putting a newer gsxr muffler w/cat on it. Most older bikes are pretty quiet with the stock muffler on them though. What bike are you thinking about getting?
