Ya'll are up for for assuming suicide with his family behind him. It's more likely that he was not paying attention or tired.

RIP... That just sucks for all involved. A special prayer for the wife who had to see it.

An aweful tragedy. RIP.

Why do you suppose they do an autopsy when the cause of death is well estabished? It is just for a toxicology report?

I have personally saved an old man passed out in a pickup truck from going off the road (with Meaner). I'm sure he had a medical condition, although he did become coherent enough to complain about not needing an ambulance.

If he had a heart attack or stroke - VERY common - then there is the reason for the accident. His family will need to know.

You never know the condition of any driver on the road, but we all assume they are just as alert as we are - but they could in fact be having a seisure or be dead for all we know. I taught my boys this when we started riding together.
This is way tragic. RIP to the rider and 's peace through recovery to family and friends.
However; I did have an acquaintence when I lived in Wisconsin that chose to take someone along with him when he took his own life by suddenly crossing his bike into oncoming traffic. The innocent victim was a child. I'm thankful no one else died here no matter what the reason.
I once knew a girl in her 30's and perfect health that collapsed on the shop floor from a brain hemorage and died in less than one minute. You just never know.

Totally agree! Is very easy to get distracted and not pay attention to the road in front of you, specially if you are tired after a long ride. Something similar happen to me on 3090 several years ago. Was messing with the iPod and suddenly realized that I was going over the yellow line.

My condolences to friends and family. RIP.
