Sweet Justice!!

So I was cruising home on my Connie 14 southbound 59 a few clicks north of GRB Center, after a trip out to Splendora. After passing a couple of riders, who were cruising along on the inside lane, and waved to both of them, I waited to make sure I had enough clearance ahead of the second rider before signaling a lane change and starting to moving toward the inside lane... when this black car that was behind me all of a sudden swooped by me on my left doing probably 20mph above the limit. I had just crossed over the divider line when he pulled this stunt with just enough road to squeak by me.

What he apparently did not see - or just didn't give a t - was a cop car stopped on the center divider (behind a car he'd pulled over) with his lights flashing. This black car missed the cop car with about as little clearance as he missed me.

Well, this apparently did not sit well with the police officer, as he pulled out immediately, chased the black car down and pulled him over. I thought - for just a second - about pulling over too to thank the cop... but I decided... nahhh... justice was enough served.

Obviously, I couldn't tell if the officer was already done with the first customer he'd pulled over, but I was surprised how fast he came out and gave chase. He must've been ! Had he been outside the car, and this black car didn't swerve back quick enough, it could've been a really bad scene.

Probably at least 3 tickets:

1. Speeding
2. Wreckless endangerment (to me on the bike)
3. Endangering a police officer

All because the driver got impatient about being stuck behind me and didn't appreciate having to watch me wave to my bike buddies.

I was so hoping at least one of the two other riders are MHers. They must've seen this played out right in front of them. First one was a cruiser; he had his feet way out on highway pegs. Second one looked like a Triumph retro or something standard/upright.

Awesome.

I would've given a big thumbs up as I rolled by, no way I'd stop though... officers have enough worries without a random person approaching them on the side of the road.

Awesome!!!

Quoted from fast black car board:

"I was behind this slow as motorcycle, so I cautiously used my signal and merged into the left lane. This idiot did the same thing, and I had to swerve to avoid hitting the motorcyclist, who was obviously on a death wish. THen some stupid cop decides to pull me over. Im thinking, hes going to thank me for not hitting the motorcycle, instead, he violated my rights and tried to search my car and when I refused, he wrote me bogus tickets. FTP!!!!!!"
