New to Houston!

Like the title says. I just moved here from Cali and need to meet some fellow motoheads! I'm not used to not being able to just leave out of my driveway on my dirt bike and go ride in the mountains. lol I'm actually about to try and get it plated here shortly. any advice on that would be appreciated by the way.

Anyway a little about me

I've been riding motorcycles since I was 5. I love the things! Mostly dirt bikes but I got into sport bikes later on started club racing. Some of the best times of my life right there! Sold the old girl before I moved here but I couldn't part with my dirtbike.

Anyway I'm not good at writing stuff about my self. I just want to ride!

Welcome. Started on dirt bikes, but love my ZX6. The weather is going to suck for you here in summer - 95 degrees and 95% humidity. Also, no lane sharing allowed here. But, there are a lot less people on the road compared to CA. Watch out for road rage, worse here also.

Welcome!!! you can still split lanes (just do it in heavy traffic so the Sherriff can't catch you)....You can always tard out your bike and hit up MSR Houston on April 29th!!! There are a lot of good track day schools here, you'll fit right in....Come out for MotoHouston's BBQ day at MSR Houston, you'll have a blast and get to meet some of us track junkies...

The dirt bike will come in handy fording the flooded streets.
