New guy from NYC

I'm Dan, just moved here from NYC. I work in the public transportation technology industry.

I love bikes, all bikes. I have two right now, an 87 Ninja 600 (being sold: http://www.motohouston.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=220785, and an 80 Honda CB750). The Honda is going to be made into a cafe racer. I've always wanted to do that.

Anyways, just moved to Spring and love it here. Lots of bikes here.

Welcome, my fellow Newyorker! Where did you live in NYC? I lived in the upper west side Manhattan, and still have a house in Fort Lee N. J.
You'll love riding here. Riders are nicer, and dont have Yellow cabs to kick them away from hitting Us.
I have a few cafe racers, and ride both the cafes and the sport bikes regularly with the folks here at MotoHouston. They are all great people here, and they will all help you to adjust to the new environment. Try to come out to one of the meets and or join one of the rides being posted on the Rides and Events Forum. Good luck and hope to see you one of these days.

What he said. Welcome to the dirty South and get ready for the heat.

j/k...not about the heat, but about the dirty part, it's more of the whole southern hospitality here
