I miss read his ad, I thought he said "reserve" is set at price of wheels, brakes and forks, but alas, he said "starting" price.

Nope have not checked valves yet lol. I guess I need to not be lazy and check them before trying to dial it in. Gallery jetting seems rich compared to what I was seeing on thumpertalk maybe that's why I'm having issues. I may be running lean still

Lmao obed u talking to me? I don't imagine there are too many talking cop hating racists in this thread? Everything I get on this lil midget bike it feels like my is gonna swallow it and the forks are gonna explode. 260lbs on a bike designed for toddlers does not mix well. What is tmgp?

yep, talking to YOU.... TMGP is Texas Mini Grand Prix...
and you would not be the biggest guy out there.. I am at 220 plus gear and there are a couple bigger than I am....
we race the mini bike both in GP and motard format... the crf100 is popular bike both in stock class and in modified versions.. it is a stone blast.
the local track is out past Katy about 5 miles north of I10, exit pederson rd, where the loves truck stop is...
Jason, Rob and I will be going to Denton (north of dallas ) for the races there at the end of the month..
BBR makes springs for both the forks and shock to beef them up some, that is all I have on mine, but of course there are high dollar after market options beyond that.

How do you like the bbr replacement s? What is required in regards to gear and bike prep for tmgp? seems like it would be a cheap way to play around on a track vs big bikes

There are 3 ways to go with a CRF100, cheap, expensive and very expensive. All relatively speaking since no bike on out grid costs as much as a stock big bike.
1. Supersport-Honda XR100 with everything stock except for aftermarket exhaust and carb re-jetting. Wheels can be changed (we have 17" sheels front and rear). Suspension can be modified. Gearing can be changed.
Can be raced in Supersport class and can race up in F-7, F-6, dinosaurs (F-6), F-6 and F-7 heavyweight or lightweight according to the weight of the rider
There is currently not a Supersport class in the endurance race (they can race in F-7) but Jeff will make a class if you can get 3 teams to commit.

2. F-7- can race in the same classes as Supersport except for the supersport class- F-7 allows any modifications to frame, engine, etc. The only limitation is 115cc.
3 F-6- lots of races available. Limitations are for engine CC of 135cc

F-7 is the largest class, mainly because the bikes can race a large variety of races.
Dennie typed this up for me on the classes when i first got interested last year.

that is a run down of what can be done as far as race classes with the 100...
the bbr suspension is just springs that have been beefed up

same gear as if you were to got to a trackday..boots, gloves, leathers, back protecter and a helmet

cheapest way to convert your xr is to get a xr80 rear wheel and lace it to the 100 front hub to give you 16's front and rear and slap some bt045's on there, hd front and rear springs and go race it. (alot of people have started with this set-up and some still use it)

It sounds pretty badass. Getting all suited up in Houston heat does not sound like my kind of thing. For now my big sweaty gorilla will stick to the dirt. Lol
