crf100f Jetting issues

OK it took some pretty detailed searching to find any bit of information leading me to actual part numbers for my little PD series carb on my CRF100F. I finally found out JetsRus had a 38 and 40 slow jet, and 102, 105 main jets.... So I ordered them, I took off my little CRF carb and noticed the stock slow jet was a "35s" whereas the new jets I just ordered were not "s" designated with the smaller hole design for better atomization.... Does anyone know where to get these specific jets like a "38s" or "40s"? Id much prefer these over the standard larger hole design... I also found part number 99103-KA9-0380 which is a honda OEM #38 slow jet... However, I think this is a "38" not "38s"? as of right now I might just drop in the standard 38 jet I have... My bike wont start under full choke at all. when I open the choke up just a hair it will light up but not idle until I keep the throttle at 1/4 twist or so. after the bike is warmed up It will idle fine without any choke. I also had to play with the fuel screw a little to get it to idle like this after warm.

update:
I cleaned out the carb, went up 1 size on pilot and main jet. I still have the same problem. With the 38 I still cannot start on full choke. I still have to open it a hair in order to start. The low end seems a little worse now and so does midrange. Now it will however start up and idle with 1/2 choke. if I flap the throttle real quick it stutters a little and the response seems a tad worse. The top end seems better though. What should I try next?

Why not just by a stock carb?

Well in that case, let me pull my stocker apart and take a look what it has in it. I have it off the bike.

This was on my stock xr that had the spark arrestor removed from exhaust and some minor air box mods.

Thanks OBED, I will toss in the 40 and try it out. and see what a 105 does compared to a 102.

OBED what year is yours? did you mod the fuel screw so you could adjust it? does your have an adjustable position jet needle?

mine is a 2006, carb is completely stock with no mods... did the jet changes when the exhaust was changed. I had a 110 in it, but backed off to the 105 because of issues at times when over 3/4 throttle.. not sure if I am completely where I want to be yet... need another practice day before the denton race to be sure.
I think steve has a 40 and a 108 in his...

I gotcha. I think I'll want to do the fuel screw mod and find a replacement jet needle with adjustable clip positions for more tunability. Does your crf start up easily under full choke on a cold engine?

mine starts with no choke, when cold or hot...
now not sure how that would be in cold weather... I bought it in January and have not had any real cold days since then to test whether i might need the choke or not..
oh, and just so you know.. Jason lies if he thinks you are going to race that thing.
