Field for learning in

My GF has decided she wants to learn out to ride a bike. I borrowed a friends CRF 100 and was looking for a location on the west side of Houston (west of Hwy 6, from i10 to 290) or Katy where she can zip around w/o fear of the cops showing up.

if you have any large churches in the area, ask permission to use their parking lot.
That is where my wife practiced before and after the MSF.

Start her off in 2nd gear. When she pops the clutch, it'll die instead of taking off on a wheelie. That was my gf's first and last try many, many years ago.

I found a nearby neighborhood with a nice big dry retention pond and taught my gf in it. Just make sure you check the whole perimeter for water or mud cuz mine took a swim. Lol
