Talking Just picked up a new helmet *Shoei RF-1100*

I love it. My prior helmet was a sevenzeroseven and I thought it was a great helmet...til I bought this one. I can sleep in this thing. Ventilation on it is immediate on it. Its really a great piece. Highly recommend. Cost a pretty penny but u get wat u pay for.

Big step up! I went from a 707 to a RF1000 and I had the same experience. Can't wait to get into a 1100 or x12 maybe.

I have an RF1000 in addition to my Suomy.

Cool thing about Shoei: I went down on a Livingston ride wearing my Shoei, I shipped it back to them and they x-rayed it and sent me a letter stating that it was still good to use. Nice having the company back their product.

You won't be able to go back now that you've tasted a high end helmet. Shoeis are very nice.

The brainbucket is the ONE thing no one should skimp on! I have always gone with Shoei, even if they were gently used. I would much rather do that than have non-quality helmet. I finally upgraded to a new X-12 and got a rockin deal for a brand new one too.

my wife loves her 1100 and i use a quest...shoei is a great helmet...
for me noise is not an issue, but comfort and reliability are.
I have not worn a bell helmet in many a year, but there was a time when bell was the best of the best and were american made.

This thread is a complete fail without pics.

Glad to hear you got yourself a nice lid, keep it in good shape and protect it with the cover it came with.
