Angry NEED TO RANT

So ive decided that Tom Peacock Nissan is the WORST dealership to ever have to deal with. Now i know its not usually a good idea to mention names like this, but in this case, i have the right to let people know how much of a bullshitting liar this guy is. Abel Perez, hes a service advisor there. Hes the one thats been supervising my car. Heres a detailed timeline of whats been happening

October 16th: my car gets flooded on I45.
October 19th: my car goes to Tom Peacock. Insurance refuses to tear down the block to check for rods, bearings, valves, etc... whatever, i let them do their thing...
November 11th: I get a phone call saying my car was just about finished when during testing the check engine light came on. It was an airbag light. They ordered a new Air Bag Control Module. That still didnt fix it.
December 14thish: They tell me the air bag issue was resolved and now my ABS light was on. 1st off, MY CAR DOESNT HAVE ABS!!!
December 21st: Insurance claims rep speak directly to tech, he hasnt worked on it in a couple of weeks cause Abel never gave him an updated work order.
December 22nd: I have a meeting with the service MANAGER and the actual tech thats been working on my car. There was never an ABS light, it doesnt even have one of those. So they finish it today!! Oh Happy day right? WRONG, when they drove it today, it started knocking, its now totaled.

So all in all, this guy Abel Perez was bullshitting me and lieing his of telling me about some BS light and that hes been working on it nonstop for the past month. We caught him flat in that and he now has nothing to say to me.

If the insurance company wouldve let them tear down the block, id already have a new car and none of this bullshit woulda happenend.

Ill have a new car soon

While we are on the topic, momentum BMW is another place. they were pulling classic sales tactics on me "oh you need tobuy today, someone from florida is coming down"

Few days later (3 days ago actually) when we agreed on a price, and I told them I was coming in with the money the next day, and they said ok, done deal.
I show up and he goes "oh we sold it to someone else, nice doing buisiness with you" and just walks off like nothing happend.

NEVER go to momentum BMW on 59. and if you must go, then NEVER talk to jared polak, hes a flaming douche ***, I yelled at him for like 10 mins, I was so close to knocking off his desk.

And you expected a car jockey to be honest?

HAHAHAHA

Look at it this way. You are getting out easy, they are totaling your car. You could have gotten stuck with a flooded lemon that no one wanted to take responsibility for.

So far Clearlake Infiniti has been nice to me. I didn't buy the car there but the service guys seem strainght up.

If you are in the market for an Aprilia, AF1 in New Braunfels is worth the drive!!

, i expected a LITTLE bit more honesty, atleast something to cover his trail. good thing this guy Abel sucked at lying. he wont be fking me over again. Sales people are a different story, some will stop at nothing to make a sale, others are cool and could care less, they just try to help as much as possible. i went to planet ford to take a look at a new mustang GT and the salesman that helped me was badass, no pressure, very easy to get a long with.

wow, now this is REALLY getting out of hand....

progressive sent one of thier own mechanics out to Tom Peacock. Abel, the service manager and the tech all gave him different stories. Apperently the reason the tech wasnt working on my car was because he was given a specific W.O from progressive and another from Abel. The one Abel gave him had less that what progressive had on it. So he just stalled on it for a while now knowing what to do. The reason Progressive refused to tear down the block was b/c Abel said it passed a compression test. The tech told the mechanic today that no test was done, which leads to why it was knocking. I told the mechanic today that the tech drove the car into the bay with water still in it. The mechanic then told me thats enough reson to tear it down. Hes having them do a wet/dry compression test to figure out whats going on now. He told me, no matter the outcome, im coming out on top on this one.

so your going to have to straddle them while they put it in your tail pipe? :confused1

how can you come out on top.. you havent had your car for like 4 months. you've already been rammed pretty hard, it'd be hard for them to get my OK on anything

well, i dont blame the insurance fully. that was his way of saying, yea...the car is totaled, so ill get a nice check and if not...ill still end up with a brand new motor.

most of the blame goes to the idiots at tom peacock. i know its been almost 3 months, but atleast something is finally getting done.
