Passenger seat. I put and empty pop can under it and slammed it down with my fist. I shought I heard it click, but after riding all the way home, for a little over and hour, I got off to put it back in the garage . .. . - I think I just heard the pop can dent because it was still in there even after the seat blew off.

I guess I'll just tell the story behind this. I got orders to San Angelo, TX when I was stationed down in Biloxi, MS. Instead of trusting the military to move my bike, I figured I'd just move all my there via motorcycle.

I left Biloxi with about 280 pounds worth of stuff piled and strapped on the back of an SV650s. About 30 minutes into the ride I hit the absolute worst storm that I have ever been in. Even the 18 wheelers were pulled over on the side of the road, but there was no where for me to pull over so I kept on goin'.

Fast forward a while an I'm on 10 headed into New Orleans. A brand new Chrysler 300 pulls up next to me on the freeway, rolls down the passenger window, and a "large" woman yelled something at me. I couldn't hear her so I slowed down, and realized she was saying "HEY BAYBAY YO BAGS IS ON FIRE!"

I pulled over on the side of the road, looked down at the pipe, and sure enough, a bag had fallen off and was on fire. I managed to grab the knife out of my tank bag and cut the straps off before it messed up anything else too bad.

Long story short, there's about 900 dollars worth of motorcycle gear and toiletries in the woods next to I-10 outside of New Orleans.
