I always liked a thong versus panties for kick starting, but whatever works for you is OK.

they are a little loose, but I tied a couple of knots in the waistband and they only fall off every third kick or so...

those bbs rims the duke 2s came with are strong, but I don't know if they are up to curb hopping and stairs - can't retrue cast aluminum with a spoke wrench, you know...
