I'm on Washington as well. Obed, I think I saw you guys at V21 on Easter around 2:30. I was hauling home to catch the rest of the Masters.

Yep for the GP race. I live behind Patronella's/Drinkery too.

And Obed, I'll be honest, you will not like Sawyer Park. It is equivalent to the ones on Sunday.

Aww, c'mon. Its not That bad. When I used to go after work at 8p there would be about 40% business professionals getting off work and the rest in jeans. I would say everyone is more in their mid to late 20's.
Plus, we'll be outside on the patio...away from them.

Kathleen: Every Wednesday night there's a lot of bikes at the Starbucks in Galleria (PP1). Mostly sport-bikes and some cruisers. Very friendly crowd and you can check some interesting bikes. Last night there was a "bobber" with a skull fit as the headlight. I also noticed at least two girls riding.

Ride Safe.

Y'all should check out griff's if you want a place that's not full of douchebags. On Thursday nights it's pub trivia and our law school tends to take over the place but any other night of the week it's pretty laid back. One of the owners is a professor at UH law school which is why so many of us go but thy have a great staff. It's near Royal Oak. Royal Oak used to have specials on 3 of their top shelf whiskers on Thursdays.
As far as I'm concerned byzantio blows. The service is usually terrible on nights they have belly dancers, or if they're slow, and probably for any other reason like a Tuesday.
There is always front porch or porch swing. Plenty of space and a cooler crowd than most places on Washington or midtown.
And last but not least there is junction just down from sawyer park.
I won't make it if y'all go this week but if it doesn't come together and you go next week I'll be in for sure!

Dos Equis thanks for the info I may come check that out.

I always wanna go to Junction but everytime I swing by (weeknight) they are dead. Same as Hefleys. I saw Junction packed once, on a Sat night when they had UFC, I think. When I came back to hang out, everyone already moved on to the next venue.
Front Porch, I was there this past Fri n Sat--30% packed.
was kinda lookin' for a place with more....revenue. Hahha.

Lets aim for next week Wednesday then??! Either Sawyer Park for .25 wings w/ huge patio or Firkin Phoenix for 5.95 Chicken Fried Chicken. Then we can ride out to PP1.

Ehhh, I dunno. Ima be out in the area with a few motorcycle peeps tonight regardless.

I know it's not. But it's not the kinda place Obed would hang out. I was just letting him know. He runs a business, but is not in his 20's....

Def not Pub. No good parking except where drunk 19 y.o. chicks walk by the entrance and will knock over your bike. Great place to party though.

Royal Oak is way too hoity toity for bikes unless we are all on Ducati's.
I barely get my Lexus valeted there when I go....

Sawyer is kinda strict on dress code with jeans/tshirts sometimes, so make it's cool they know we're coming.

Firkin is where they used to host MotoGP races, I know they are friendly, but I don't know about specials there.

Alabama Ice House was last year's central meet, but I thought it took forever to get food. Maybe we could try it again too.

Guess we won't know till we try though. Let me know what you decide, I'll be there either way probably.

across the street and one house west... the last time i was actually at the harp was probably 6 or 7 years ago...anyway it was the first St. Patricks day after they opened they had quite a blow out.. but since then they have gone down hill... but they do have more folks this last year than in quite a while.. their remodeling a couple of years back was an improvement, but over priced beer and slow assed servers is not my way of doing things. I guess I am more of an ice house price kind of guy, it goes back to my rasin'... to me if folks want bikes, have plenty of COLD not over priced beer...
sell your beer for a little less and you will sell more of it, for a longer period of time each night...

Maaan, we were at The Lot for ufc once and you know how we park our bikes across the street? Some girl in a dress (and im sure a thong underneath) got on my man's (Cuong-Nutz) bike..I was just so happening to be walking towards our bikes. I told her to get the off and she apologized. UGHHH!! Nasty sweaty on my man's seat.

Youre right about Firkin. Theyre friendly w/ good parking but drink specials are no bueno. If so, only beer.

I remember you mentioning this at Coaches Katy.
Lets do it there then. I guess we'll just have to occupy the sidewalk for parking.

Adjacent to Taps House of Beer. About a 1min walk from Kung Fu and V21, on the other side of the street though.
