chopping the Yoshi?

im gonna chop my tri-oval in half and re-rivit it to the base. is there any special trick to doing this or any complications to expect? thanks

is it cf or aluminum? just drill out the rivets, pull the guts, cut her down and re-rivet.

just make sure you save enough room to put the "guts" back in and you're good to go. may want to snag a repack kit before you tear it down. just a thought

whats in a repack kit. i thought it just had a long metal baffel inside. i was just gonna chop in right down the middle. what do the guts consist of?
