What do the different colors mean? Usually you just mark out the states you've rode versus the ones you haven't yet.

don't know about the significance of the colors, i've usually seen it where the states are white that "you" have not ridden.

dunno really, my guess

spotwalla is the site
and it used his phone or GPS to keep track of where he's at.

I think its just a site that supports different devices. I have a SPOT tracker GPS and it integrates with Google Maps so when I took my trip through Arkansas up to St Louis, then Nashville, Memphis, Little Rock and Houston , my friends and and family could see where I was at any point. I told my brother that if I was at one spot for 2 hours or more during the day and I hadn't called him to let him know I was checking something out that he should notify 911 of my location. The SPOT tracker has a 911 button but I figured if I went down I would probably be separated from it.

This is really interesting, A friend of mine ran into a guy in Lousiana on a Busa who said he was riding to Flordia from Californa or from California to Flordia, I don't really remember.... Wonder if it is the same guy....

This was couple weeks to month or so back? Was just thinking how rare it must be for someone to ride a Busa from Cali to Lousiana and still heading out east.... he said the guy said something about visiting a friend or brother or something in Houston... Really don't remember much because at the time I didn't care but now I find it interesting go figure.....

What a day. I'll write more after I sleep but:

2365 miles. 43 hours, 18 minutes, 20 seconds. Not bad.

The IBA member I had lined up to witness for me welched at the very last minute, as in when I called to ask him to meet me tonight, so I had to scramble. Not sure if what I have is sufficient. It should be, but by the letter of the law....

To say I'm is an understatement. It has been handled and overcome.

The mountain pass coming into SD was a cold . Made me glad I got the heated gear.

More tomorrow. I'm a little tired and I'm going to bed now. 1150 miles yesterday and 1215 today.
